The Firs offers exciting programs and comfortable facilities for camps, retreats, and group events. Our mission is to help people encounter Jesus and experience the love of God while staying at one of our properties. Whether you have a group of 25 or 220, the Retreat Center will accommodate you comfortably. We offer a range of housing options, including private cabins and individual lodge rooms, all with attractive views of the surrounding fir and cedar trees. Our various accommodations are designed to suit every budget. All lodging is centrally located – a short walk through the trees takes you wherever you need to be. This makes it an ideal spot to hold your next retreat.
MEETING ROOM
To enhance your event, your main meeting room includes coffee service, a 24-hour-accessible host, and other amenity options to meet your retreat or event needs. Media options can be arranged according to your advance specifications. Plan your presentation, discussion or performance without worrying about logistics.

DINING
Great dining is essential to a successful retreat or event, and our executive chef turns meal times into a dining experience. Fully staffed buffet or family-style gourmet meals are served in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Want an extra coffee break, snack time or banquet? Just let us know in advance, and we will arrange everything. Our dining staff is here to serve you.
ACTIVITIES
Need to unwind? Wander down to our beach area on Lake Whatcom. Waterfront activities during the summer months include swimming, water skiing, tubing, paddle boats, and sea kayaks. If you prefer to be on land, start up a game of volleyball, baseball, soccer or basketball. Upon request, your group can also book a session of rock climbing at our indoor rock wall or paintball at our outdoor field. Our staff is committed to providing your group with exceptional comfort and service!
