The Firs Bible & Missionary Conference (“The Firs”) is committed to ensuring the privacy of all
users’ (“Users”) information. This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for this website: thefirs.org.

This privacy policy applies to all personal information submitted by Users through The Firs’
website (the “Website”), and through the Pushpay mobile payment application for use on iOS and
Android smart phones (the “Application”).

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about changes to this privacy policy.

Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

information during the course of dealing with you, for example when you register for camps,
conferences or events, or complete other forms. The Firs will not collect any personal information
about visitors to the website except when they knowingly provide it.

In order to make a payment to The Firs, all Users will need to submit certain personal
information about themselves (as prompted by the Website and/or Application), including their
name, phone number, postal and email address. Users may be asked to submit further
information from time to time.

Use of information and data

We use the information you provide for the purposes for which it was originally collected, for
example, to respond to your email or to provide the programs or services you requested. We may
also use this information to help us improve the content and functionality of our website, to
better understand the needs and interests of the people and organizations that use our website,
and to improve our programs and services.

Refund Policy

Online contributions to the The Firs are considered to be non-refundable. The refund policy for
specific events is determined according to the nature of event. The event refund policy is posted
within the event registration form.

Contact Forms & Surveys

From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys or forms. Participation in these surveys or forms is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to contact you and will not be shared with any other party. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

When visitors submit their information in a contact form or survey, we collect the data shown in the  form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register or complete a form on our website we also store the personal information they provide. Users can edit or delete their personal information at any time by sending an email to info@thefirs.org. Website administrators can see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
