Storm Update!

@campfirwood was hit extremely hard by the 11/20 storm. The road is still currently fully blocked with access only available through our Sudden Valley access gate. We have over 30 trees down around the property and more that need to be taken down for safety reasons. We lost 2 cabins plus there’s significant damage to another cabin roof. The cost for repairs just for the cabins is $13,000, and we’re waiting on estimates for clearing trees.

• Please pray for favor with the company helping us with tree removal; that they would feel compelled to support our ministry through discounted rates.

• Pray as we seek to raise funds for clean up while we still need to prioritize end of year operational fundraising as well.

• Pray for safety for our maintenance team and all who are working on clean up.

We are so excited and thankful for our new covered pavilion in the @firsandfiddleheads forest.

This new space allows for circle time at the end of each day where students hear Bible stories, sing songs, and learn about a God who created them and the world around them. 🌍

What a beautiful space! Thank you to our incredible maintenance team and generous donors for making a dream become reality. ✨

It is a blessing to see how the Lord continues to sustain not only our ministries, but he has sustained a committed group of board members who lead by faith.

Thank you to our current board of directors, and for those who have come before and those who will follow. We are grateful for your leadership and servant heart.

To Him be the glory!

The 3rd Annual Tick or Trees event at The Firs was a total win! Over 200 kids and their families joined us for a fun night complete with trick or treating, hot cocoa by the bonfire, voting in the cabin decorating competition, and more. Thanks for joining us! 🎃 Save the date for next year!
