Women's Retreat The Firs recognizes the deep need for women of all ages to be encouraged and equipped in their faith. Every spring and fall at The Firs Retreat Center in Bellingham, Washington, these retreats are designed to inspire women to see themselves, their families, marriages, and relationships, transformed. Each retreat presents solid teaching from God's Word and a choice of workshops that support the weekend's theme. There will be a good deal of fun and fellowship, all culminating in a closing communion worship service. Perhaps best of all, someone else does all the cooking and cleaning! Church Group Discount:

Fall Women's Retreat—
 SPEAKER: Denise BrewerThe Firs is pleased to welcome back Denise Brewer as our speaker. Denise is a world history professor, with an emphasis in ancient civilizations, and a Precept Bible Study Teacher. She says that History is her love, but Scripture is her passion; she is also passionate about speaking, teaching, mentoring, writing e-devotionals, and working in women's ministries. Denise is married to an army colonel, Christion, and resides in Pensacola, FL. They have one grown daughter.
 MUSIC: Arlene OvermanArlene received a BA in Music and English from Trinity Western University, where she met her husband, Bob. They have both worked in music ministry at a variety of churches over many years. Arlene has taught private voice and piano lessons out of her Victoria, BC, home studio for over 20 years, but takes the greatest joy in making music with her three musical children and talented husband.
This fall, Denise will begin a 3-part series, "MAJESTY".
