Activities:
The Chalet is open all year round, with each season offering a unique experience and spectacular scenery. In summer, enjoy hiking the groomed interpretive trails through the majestic scenery of Heather Meadows, or take a book and lounge on the deck with Mt. Shuksan in view. When the snow falls, snowboard on the slopes of Mt. Baker while others take advantage of the tube run.
After a day of outdoor activity, the group can hang out in the downstairs game room complete with billiards, carpetball, ping pong, air hockey, table shuffleboard, basketball hoop, and foosball. Whatever your group’s goal, the Mt. Baker Chalet provides the facilities to achieve it.
Facilities:
The Chalet houses 40 to 95 guests in dormitory style rooms on the upper two floors of this four-floor A-frame. Several sleeping rooms are available on the bottom floor for head leaders and speaker. Restrooms and showers are centrally located on top two floors and bottom floor.
The dining and meeting area is centered on the middle floor of the Chalet, an area that offers a grand circular fireplace, comfortable couches and chairs to give your meetings that special touch. We can provide some media equipment according to advance specifications. The Mt. Baker Chalet is a full service facility, and our chef is ready to provide your group with warm hearty meals or prepare a sack lunch for a day of hiking or on the ski slope. The deck off this central floor also gives your group the opportunity to enjoy a meal in the sun outside in warm weather.
